Distribute Literature:The Public Information / Cooperation with the Professional Community Committee (PI-CPC) is in need of volunteers to assist in distributing literature to places in the community like treatment centers, schools, libraries, and hospitals. The PI-CPC Committee attempts to serve the community by getting making information about meeting times and places widely available. For example, finding appropriate places to place meeting lists and pamphlets. We try get information about AA to places where an alcoholic in need can find our message. If you are willing and able to lend a hand please send us an e-mail. We will find drop off locations close to your home, or where ever is convienent for you. Answering Service and Rides to Meetings:Service opportunities are available for AA members willing to receive phone calls from our answering service when a caller is requesting help with alcoholism. This includes answering general questions about AA (meeting times, meeting locations, etc.). Also, volunteers are needed who are willing to give fellow AAs rides to meetings. If you are interested in either (or both) of these opportunities, please fill in this form or email phone.services@aa-eci.org with any questions. 2 years of sobriety is recommended for these service positions. |
