Stay Sober with Service

“…nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics.  It works when other activities fail.”

What does the District 12 Treatment Facilities Committee do?
It coordinates volunteer service commitments for those interested in carrying the message of recovery to those who are in treatment facilities.
Bridging the Gap
By carrying the message of AA into the treatment facilities we share our “experience, strength and hope” addressing residents questions about early recovery. See the schedule.
AA Orientation
A panel that speaks to treatment center residents on specific AA topics such as: The Steps, Spirituality, Sponsorship, Meetings and The Traditions.
Temporary Contact Program
Connect with residents in treatment who want to talk to someone about AA or seek a temporary sponsor.
Detox 12-Step Call
When a detox patient requests to talk to a member of AA
Provide Literature at Treatment Facilities
We provide literature racks in the treatment facilities and supply them with AA Conference approved literature.
