- What does the District 12 Treatment Facilities
Committee do?
- It coordinates volunteer service commitments for those interested in carrying the message
of recovery to those who are in treatment facilities.
- Bridging the Gap
- By carrying the message of AA into the treatment facilities we share
our “experience, strength and hope” addressing residents
questions about early recovery. See the schedule.
- AA Orientation
- A panel that speaks to treatment center residents on specific AA
topics such as: The Steps, Spirituality, Sponsorship, Meetings and The
Traditions.
- Temporary Contact Program
- Connect with residents in treatment who want to talk to someone about
AA or seek a temporary sponsor.
- Detox 12-Step Call
- When a detox patient requests to talk to a member of AA
- Provide Literature at
Treatment Facilities
- We provide literature racks in the treatment facilities and supply
them with AA Conference approved literature.
